In order to improve turbine efficiency in the low pressure steam turbine, investigations are carried out with focusing on the formation behavior of water film and droplet around blade trailing edge. Mechanistic study on water film separation behavior on the surface will promote to establish the novel techniques to decrease droplet impingement into the blades.
